Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how we process personal data in connection with this website and when you contact us. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing is:

Andreas Paul
Hinterbergstrasse 108, 8044 Zürich, Switzerland
Email: contact@atmtransform.com

In this privacy policy, “we” and “us” refer to the controller named above. For all data protection matters, please contact us at the address above.

2. Visiting this website

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files. This includes the IP address of your device, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring website, the amount of data transferred, and the browser and operating system you use.

We process this data to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and detect and investigate misuse. We do not combine it with other data or use it to identify individual visitors, unless this is necessary to investigate an attack. Log files are kept only for as long as necessary for these purposes and are then deleted.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

3. Contacting us

You can contact us by email. The contact form on this website does not transmit any data to us or to third parties: it merely opens your own email program with a pre-filled message, which you then send yourself.

When you contact us, we process the data you provide – typically your name, organisation, email address and the content of your message – in order to answer your enquiry and, where necessary, to put you in touch with suitable members of the community. We keep this correspondence for as long as necessary for these purposes and delete it afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply (in Switzerland generally up to ten years for business correspondence relevant to accounting).

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is taking steps at your request (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and connecting you with the community (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

4. No cookies, tracking or third-party content

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, social media plugins or advertising. Fonts and images are served from this website’s own web space; no connection is made to third-party servers such as font or content delivery networks when you visit the site.

5. Hosting and email

This website is hosted by Swizzonic AG, Zurich, Switzerland, with servers located in Switzerland. Swizzonic processes the data described in section 2 on our behalf and solely according to our instructions. Emails you send us are stored with our email service provider.

6. Sharing with community members, third parties and abroad

We do not sell your personal data. We share the information you send us only where this is necessary for your enquiry – primarily with members of the ATM Transform community who can help with your question. Members who receive your data use it only to respond to your enquiry and are themselves responsible for how they process it from then on. Beyond that, data is passed on only to the service providers described above or where we are legally obliged to do so.

Community members may be located outside Switzerland. Transfers to the EU/EEA and other countries with an adequate level of data protection recognised by the Federal Council are permitted. We will pass on your data to a member in a country without such recognition only with your consent.

7. Data security

This website is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. Please note that ordinary email is not end-to-end encrypted.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to:

  • request information about whether and which personal data we process about you;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided to us in a common electronic format or have it transferred to another controller;
  • withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the address above. We may ask you to verify your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence or work.

9. Automated decisions

We do not use automated individual decision-making or profiling.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
